Turmeric Almond Milk

The active ingredient, curcumin and other chemical compounds in turmeric have numerous health benefits because they have powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-septic, anti-fungal, anti-oxidant properties.
½ tsp (1 gram) organic turmeric powder
½ tsp healthy oil (avocado, virgin coconut virgin olive, or faxseed)
Pinch of ground black pepper
½ tsp honey (optional)
1 cup almond milk
Place turmeric, oil, black pepper, and honey (if using) into an empty glass or cup. Heat 1 cup of almond milk. Pour heated almond milk into turmeric mixture. Stir and enjoy!
