Green Smoothie Bowl — Smoothies and smoothie bowls are a delicious way to get a highly nutrient dense meal into one bowl or glass. By blending together greens, fruit, seeds and nuts you can pack a day’s worth of nutrition into just one serving. This green smoothie bowl is not only delicious but is also an alkaline immunity booster loaded with antioxidants, vitamins and minerals. It is a real treat when topped with additional fruits, nuts, seeds, granola, etc. You can vary the greens and fruit depending on personal choice and availability. I also added parsley because of it’s rich vitamin C and K content while mint and lemon have great cleansing and digestive benefits. The smoothie should be thick enough to eat with a spoon.

 1 cup milk (or non-dairy milk)
 ½ cup plain Greek yogurt
 2 large handfuls baby greens (kale, spinach, chard, etc.)
 A few sprigs of parsley and mint
 1 frozen banana
 ½ lemon, peeled
 ¼ avocado
 1 tbsp chia seeds
 1 tbsp hemp hearts

Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender until you get a smooth thick consistency. Pour into a bowl and top it up with your choice of toppings.
